You’re Not Coming Out Empty-Handed

The Israelites were God's chosen people, but they ended up being enslaved in Egypt for many years. Finally, in God's time, He orchestrated a plan for their release. It was miraculous and extravagant. God did more for them than they could have imagined. He allowed them to leave Egypt with more than they thought possible.
Psalm 105:37 (NIV)
“He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold, and from among their tribes no one faltered.”
When God delivered Israel from slavery, He didn’t just open the Red Sea and lead them to freedom; He restored their dignity, reclaimed what had been stolen, and sent them out with substance.
They walked out of Egypt not broken, not empty, but laden with silver and gold.
And I believe this is a prophetic picture for women like us.
Coming out of the pit… with power
So many of us are walking out of our own Egypt
out of toxic relationships, emotional abuse, fear, shame, spiritual battles…
But hear this:
You are not just surviving. You are reclaiming.
You are not coming out empty handed.
Just as Israel left Egypt with the wealth of their oppressors, you will rise carrying the very gifts, wisdom, strength, and authority that your suffering tried to silence.
What the Enemy Meant to Deplete, God Will Use to Rebuild
You’re coming out with:
• Voice – where you were silenced
• Wisdom – born in the fire
• Beauty – refined through brokenness
• Compassion – deep and fierce
• Purpose – rooted in heaven
• Provision – enough to carry your calling forward
This isn’t just healing, it’s restoration.
It’s Rise & Reclaim.
Reflection Questions:
• What has God already returned to you in your healing journey?
• What “silver and gold” (gifts, opportunities, inner strength) are you walking out with now?
• Can you believe that this pain isn’t the end of your story, but the beginning of your purpose?
Speak this over yourself:
I am not coming out empty-handed.
I am coming out with purpose, power, and everything I need to walk in my calling.
