A Journey of Grace

ree

A heartfelt reflection on finding God’s strength in weakness, and the grace that lifts us through community, prayer, and faith.

There are moments in life when everything feels heavy, when strength runs out, and the path ahead seems unclear. Sometimes you don’t even know what to pray anymore; you hope God hears the quiet cry of your heart.

I’ve learned that grace often shows up right there, not when everything is perfect, but when everything feels impossible.

Grace met me when I was at my weakest.

Grace lifted me when I couldn’t lift myself.

Grace reminded me that even when I’m at my limit, God’s strength is none.

When God Says “Rise Anyway”

There was a season I felt completely stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, and drained. But even there, in the quiet of that low place, I sensed God’s whisper: “Rise anyway.”

Those two words changed everything.

It wasn’t about feeling strong or having it all together. It was about obedience, taking one trembling step at a time and trusting that grace would meet me on the way. And it did.

The Gift of People

God, in His mercy, didn’t let me walk that journey alone. He surrounded me with people who carried me, literally, in prayer, encouragement, and love.

I want to honour Rev. Albert Lamptey, Prophet Roland Akrasi, Ronke Lawal-Ayeni, and Seyi Adelakun. Each of you was a vessel of grace during a season when I needed it most.

.

• Rev. Albert: steady wisdom and covering, speaking life when I struggled to see beyond the moment.

• Prophet Roland: faith-filled prayer that reminded me that God’s promises never expire.

• Ronkus: kindness, laughter, and light in dark places, endless phone calls at reasonable and unreasonable times

• Sisi Seyi: Putting me up in a penthouse in Milton Keynes! Heartfelt chat over breakfast, quiet, faithful consistency that words can hardly describe.

You reminded me that no one rises alone. God uses people as His hands and heart, and through you, He reminded me that His grace often wears a human face.

The Lesson Grace Taught Me

Grace isn’t always about ease; it’s about endurance.

It doesn’t always remove the mountain; sometimes it gives you the strength and the people to climb it.

True strength is surrender, allowing God to hold what you can’t carry, and allowing others to help when you can’t stand alone.

Even when it looks like everything is falling apart, God is quietly putting the pieces together in a better way than before.

To You, Reading This

If you’re feeling weak, weary, or overwhelmed, know this:

God still sees you.

Grace still meets you.

And His power is still made perfect in your weakness.

You don’t have to be strong. You don’t have to feel ready.

Just take the step, even if your hands tremble and your heart questions.

At His word, rise anyway.

He will provide every step, every ounce of strength, every bit of grace you need.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

This is not just my story; it’s a testimony of grace, quiet, steady, unshakable grace.

And it’s still writing new chapters.
