Who Is Your Jonathan?” — The Power of Aligned Relationships

There’s a popular saying:
“You are the sum total of the five people you spend the most time with.”
Well, let me introduce you to one of my five.
Meet Ronke, the friend who invited me to the very business program that changed my mindset forever.
The Day Everything Shifted
I didn’t go looking for a business event. I wasn’t out here trying to make bold moves. But God sent someone who saw beyond where I was and pointed me toward where I could go.
Ronke didn’t just send me a link or mention an event in passing. She saw something in me, called it out, encouraged me, and walked with me.
And that simple invite was the spark that lit a fire in me.
David and Jonathan: A Divine Connection
In the Bible, David and Jonathan had a bond that was God ordained.
Jonathan wasn’t just a friend, he was a covenant ally.
He covered David, encouraged and stood with him even when it cost him everything.
1 Samuel 18:3
“And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.”
Ronke has been that for me.
She saw purpose in me.
She championed me without competition.
She gave me a key to a door, and celebrated as I walked through it.
So Let Me Ask You… Who Is Your Jonathan?
• Who calls you higher?
• Who reminds you who you are when you forget?
• Who walks with you when you step out in faith?
The people around you matter more than you think.
Surround yourself with people who speak life, not limitation.
People who see destiny, not just their current circumstances.
People who will rise and reclaim with you.
Thank You, Ronke.
This post is a public thank you to the one who reminded me that I was born for more.
Because of your invitation, I found clarity.
Because of your voice, I found courage.
Because of your friendship, I rose.
Your Circle = Your Future
If you’re feeling stuck, maybe it’s not just about strategy, maybe it’s about alignment.
Check your circle.
And if you’ve got a Jonathan in your life, honour them.
If you are a Jonathan to someone else, keep showing up. Keep speaking up. Keep walking with them.
You never know how you can change someone’s life.
