Out of the Eater Came Something to Eat

ree

I used to think the pain would swallow me.

The grief, the trauma, the heartbreak, I thought it had taken everything.

But God. He reminded me of a strange riddle from the book of Judges:

Judges 14:14

“Out of the eater came something to eat,

Out of the strong came something sweet.”

At first, this might look like just a riddle from Samson, a man from the Bible known for his strength and complicated life. But there's a deeper truth here that is powerful. For those of us who have faced tough battles, this verse means more. It reminds us that God can create purpose from our pain and bring sweetness from our sorrows. Samson killed a lion, and later, when he walked by its dead body, he found bees and honey inside. He ate from what had once tried to kill him.

A Personal Revelation

That’s precisely what God is doing in my life.

The abuse, the betrayal, the silence, the fear, what once had the power to destroy me…

God is using those very places to feed me, strengthen me, and even heal others through me.

Only God can do that.

Only He can take what was meant for evil and turn it into nourishment.

The Sweetness Rising from Pain

If you’re in the middle of the fight…

If you’re staring down your lion…

Please hear me when I say: There is honey coming.

• Out of the heartbreak will come healing.

• Out of the abuse will come your anointing.

• Out of the silence will come your roar.

You will not be defined by what broke you.

You will be known by how you rose.

This Is What Rise & Reclaim Is About

We don’t run from our lion stories here.

We let God transform them.

What devoured you yesterday might become the very testimony that feeds someone else tomorrow.

So hold on.

Let Him work.

And never forget: Out of the eater can still come something sweet.
