Never Forsaken

There are moments in life when it feels as if the walls are closing in. The bills don’t add up, the job feels uncertain, or the future looks blurry. In those moments, questions arise:

“Will I be left stranded? Has God forgotten me?”

But then comes the reminder:

God’s faithfulness is not bound by our circumstances. The economy does not measure it, nor is it determined by what we see in the present moment. His faithfulness is rooted in His nature, unchanging, abundant, and overflowing with mercy.

David, reflecting on his long walk with God, once declared that he had never seen the righteous forsaken or their children left begging for bread.

This wasn’t wishful thinking; it was the voice of someone who had lived through highs and lows and still bore witness to God’s unbroken care.

Centuries later, Paul echoes the same truth in a letter written from prison:

“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Notice the contrast: David speaks from lifetime experience, Paul speaks from faith-filled conviction, and yet both reach the same conclusion.

God never abandons His own.

Sometimes the provision looks miraculous. At other times, it comes quietly through work, through community, through unexpected kindness, or through ideas that open new doors. But no matter the form, the source remains the same: God. His riches are greater than our lack, and His supply is never late.

If you are in a season of uncertainty, take heart. You are not forsaken. Your story will not end in lack. God’s provision covers your needs today, tomorrow, and for generations after you.

Hold this truth close: His supply is greater than your need.
