He Still Touches the Unclean

The Power of the Cross in My Story

There’s something sacred about the way Jesus moves towards what others run from.

In the Gospels, we see Him again and again reaching for the unclean. For example, the woman with the issue of blood, the leper, the broken, and the rejected. And with one touch, He doesn’t become unclean, they become whole.

That’s the power of the Cross!

Jesus isn’t afraid of your story.

Not the trauma.

Not the abuse.

Not the heartbreak.

Not the things that made you feel unworthy or ashamed.

He doesn’t avoid your mess

He transforms it.

That’s what He’s doing with me.

He’s taking the parts of my life that felt unusable and turning them into a message.

He’s turning pain into purpose.

He’s taking what felt like impurity and calling it 'holy ground'.

Because in His hands, even my deepest wounds become a platform to help others rise.

This platform, Rise & Reclaim, was born from this truth:

We do not stay where we were wounded, we walk in the healing He gives.

And today, I want to remind you:

You are not too broken. Not too far. Not too late.

Jesus still touches the unclean.

And when He does, they rise.

In the book of Matthew, we see a leper asking Jesus for healing. He says to Him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean"

"And Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be clean.’ Immediately, the man was cleansed of his leprosy."

Matthew 8:2-3 (NIV)

This verse is a clear picture of God's heart: He is willing. Not hesitant. Not afraid. Just willing and powerful. He wants to draw close to us. To heal. To restore.
